I hope that you are feeling better and that everything works out for you in the short term Glenn. Sometimes it's the immediate petty problems that seem at times almost insurmountable. I pray that soon your luck will change my friend, beginning with the weather, so that you can enjoy a nice peaceful walk with good thoughts going through your mind, and eventually end up where you deserve to be. Have a great week buddy! 

I am doing OK, went for a walk this morning and am probably going for a walk this evening too in a short while. The weather is a bit cool but is supposed to warm up this week. Thanks for checking in... I'm off to go out to walk again... 

Glenn - just want to thank you for your suggestions about the picnic. You were on my mind on Saturday and believe it or not, helped me stick to it. Sunday I guess I went a bit overboard, but, so what, I am back on the horse again. Walking I have found is a nice way for me to think about things and probably for you too. I think I read you wanted to move out of the country. For real? I hope if you do you will still stay with us. I really like hearing updates on your writing. You didn't mention it in this post. How is it going? I am keeping my eye on the shelves :-), I know I will see your book out there some day soon. Have a great evening Glenn, and maybe the fresh air will make you feel better! Yes, Next Number, I will stay on here indefinitely I'm sure. I lived in the Philippines for 1 1/2 years in the Air Force, flew to the Navy Base with a female 'friend' once for example, she had to go back early I had a four day weekend then so stayed and met up with others I knew and went back to Clark Air Base by myself on the Filipino bus and motorcycle and Jeepney (a Jeep taxi) transportation at night. The people were so nice there compared to Americans here, I met some far away from the bases too and they were very nice. Americans are a tough lot of people. I did step on Japan on the way back for a short time on Okinawa, so I have been to only those two foreign countries, but I would love to live somewhere like Spain, Australia or Hong Kong I think. If I get published I'm sure I will go to Europe. When I was in Los Angeles a foreign woman came up to me at a bus stop twenty years ago and asked if I was continental. I asked what that meant, she questioned if I was originally from Europe as she said I didn't look American, I said no - I'll post some photos of me next month so you can get a better idea of what I look like than just one picture... I did walk tonight, will try to go twice a day. It will get/keep the excess weight off...
