I was diagnosed with type two diabetes on May 21st. I weighed 266. Today after walking 3 1/2 miles a day and watching what I eat, I weigh 255. I love to cook and bake and eat! But I know I have to change my lifestyle. My husband has been so supportive! He got me a Fitbit and it has helped me stay on track. And the Fat secret app has helped me tremendously with being aware of what I eat. My goal is to get off the diabetes pills!

90 DAYS ago they gave me 3 months to correct my diet or i would have to start taking diabetes meds. I went to dr 2 days ago and my blood sugar 5.2 which he says in good.. No meds for me..just staying on track
