For all of April, I got up at 6 am to work out, but then it fell apart. Also, since then my work schedule got changed, so I'd have to start getting up at five in order to keep on with that. I'm so not a morning person, but I think if I start going to bed super-early again, I might pull it off. I felt so energetic when I was exercising 5 days a week. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went out cycling again (we've officially made it a 5X a week event!!!), and my speed was better than ever. I don't quite understand it, since I haven't been riding regularly, but I'm not complaining. Now if I can just work myself up from my 8.4 miles to the 12 miles a day he's doing, then we'll be good! All I know is that I looked at myself in the mirror and I liked how I looked. That hasn't happened in a while.
On a side note: that boy has way too much endurance, stamina, and energy for someone who is "obese." He weighs 240, but he's riding better now than when he was 180... I'm also very jealous of his calorie output. My 50 min. bike ride=351 calories burned. His 60 min. bike ride=950!! So not fair!
