I know I'm not hungry....I just ate a bowl of Go Lean. It was pretty good for cardboard....I mean "high fiber" cereal. Then I had a fudgesicle. So my question is: Why do I want to go plunder in the kitchen? There aren't any goodies in there.....:-)

I had a good day today at work. I started climbing stairs yesterday. I found a site that posted calories burned for climbing stairs. If I climb 6 flights of stairs 3 times a day that will burn 90 calories. (There are 12 steps to a flight). So I started that yesterday. Well this evening, my thighs & calfs are sore! I guess that is a good thing, but I may need to skip tomorrow and do something different for activity.

Have a good evening everyone!

What's wrong, don't like cardboard? Evenings are always rough for me too. I just made a cup of decaf coffee trying to get me through w/o eating anymore. Bad habits are hard to break! Great job with your new exercise idea. If you're feeling it, it must work really well. Maybe we should spend the evenings digging old clothes out of our closet to see if they fit!

I don't know what causes that "bottomless pit" feeling but we've all been there and can sympathize with your plight! I hope you stay strong and resist the urge to "plunder in the kitchen". Who needs an expensive gym membership when stairs are everywhere? Great exercise! And the great thing about your workouts is that you will visually see how well you are doing when you are able to take more and more stairs.

I have fought the battle of night time eating/snacking too. Good news, you can win the battles! maybe not every battle, but each battle you do win makes you stronger for the next. I have discovered that drinking a hot herbal tea (like sleepytime if its getting later) without caffine is good. Chewing sugarless gum also helps distract me for a while. Keep fighting the good fight, you will eventually win. I also have been losing weight better since I've been winning more of the "no snacks after supper" wars. Good luck to ya!
