I misread this the other night and thought it was green goddess so I put that on the list. Not, lol. What is green dressing?

It’s green goddess dressing, has avocado, cilantro, lemon and herbs.

Is that a bottle or homemade?

I used a bottle from Trader Joe’s but here’s an online recipe: https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/green_goddess_dressing/

Thank you and Wow. I put the simply recipe into the cook book and that comes out as 204 calories per 2 tbsp compared to TJ's 20. Probably the absence of mayo & sour cream. I think it's worth the drive - my closest TJ is 40 mins away... sigh. Hopefully the cilantro won't be too over powering.

Replace the mayo and sour cream with avocado, https://delightfulmomfood.com/green-goddess-dressing/ try this one instead looks lighter

Once you replace the fat with something you eat more carbs and protein. Is that a good thing? It is not where my diet is at

Replacing a fat with another fat that has fiber and micronutrients.

Good point! and I do like green goddess dressing

It definitely does look lighter, and likely closer to TJ's version. Liv - I agree but I'm trying to find a balance with overall calories too. If I'm going to keep a deficit for loss I do still need to look for ways to trim a massive count on something that's only 2 tbsps. That leaves me more room in my RDI for cheese, LOL.

I guess there is a lot of manipulation involved. LOL

Yes it’s tricky adding some carbs and not triggering the overeating. I’m still playing with the macros while keeping my calories under control. Green goddess took some getting used to but after a week of eating it, I’m getting used to the healthy herby green taste of it. I’m glad I have you all to check and make sure it fits the lowcarb/calorie lifestyle. :)

Haha -- anytime you need a judgmental comment just let us know...LOL. I love this comment of yours because it just occurred to me that while my blood sugar is holding stable since adding the fruit back into my eating... my desire to eat more has also increased. It just helped me realize something I too needed to get back in line.

Funny I don’t see any of the comments below judging. I think we are all in the business of helping and guiding. I wouldn’t have my current body without the input from the positive guidance from everyone. I’m pretty grateful for it all. 💕💕💕

Whew - I guess I read that in a different voice. You know I never ever intentionally judge but I think written vs spoken can sometimes be misinterpreted but I'm glad it wasn't.

You guys are great! I am happy we can talk about it without getting our knickers in a twist

Liv - so true but I wonder if FS would change my user name to Twisted Knickers. I loved how that sounded in my head.

Try sticking with the low carb high fiber fruits, berries, avocados, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers...I have been all over the place in my carb count but keeping calories steady but hungry.
