I'm doing well. My back is cramping up a bit but not as bad as before the Cortisone shots. I'm hoping to move to another apartment complex soon as this place I'm in is a negative place to live and I just need to stay in my apartment and avoid the other tenants and just go out of my apartment when I have to. I got a crew cut a few days ago, it looks alright, my hair looks OK short. I look like I was in the military, and I actually was too. Anyway, less calories lately, I think the Cortisone is wearing out of my sytem. I have a lot to do this evening - I will try to get to buddies' journals. Yesterday I was just busy...

Sorry to hear about your back tonight. Sometimes if I sit too long or walk/stand to long my knees get rough. I think I have to find a happy medium between the two. Maybe you sat to long writing last night and need short breaks to get up and move around or take a short stroll. The Cortisone should last for a lot longer I think. They say it can last 10 days or 10 years. My knee got a Cortisone shot just before the 5-shot treatment and it has helped. Still sore sometimes, but nothing like it was. Arthritis sucks doesn't it? Be well Glenn and just ignore those other tenants that annoy you.

Thanks NN, I may be moving soon. Anytime could happen to a better building about a mile and a half from here, it's more out in the country a ways, forest nearby for walking there too. The Cortisone did help short-term the pain is no longer excruciating, it's just there not going away. It is keeping me from walking and biking like I'd wish to be doing now with the mild weather. It's summery now with a hint of autumn in the air as it wasn't that humid today. The ninth story for the short story is coming along well and is set in the Los Angeles area, it is unusual for certain. I may have to wait until I get an inheritance to self publish. Even established authors are, say, having trouble getting their fourth book published; I heard it on the radio the other day. I may have to put one of my books on the Internet for free in the coming year just to get someone to notice me. If not, a short story or two or more I'm sure will be on the Internet for free in like a year from now if I have no publishing deal...

I never had a crew cut because I had serious doubts that my hair would stand up properly. :-) From what I hear, even if you don't move to another place immediately, you can dream that you've already done so and it can be close to the real thing.

Thanks info, I am sorry I didn't get to journals tonight. I was busy today and slept a long while. The top isn't totally a crew cut but it is short, the sides and back are. It's definitely a military-type haircut, gray on the sides. No luck meeting women on the dating sites. If I don't move to the other building complex after a few months I REALLY may start planning for Hawaii, just to have a social life. This is an area to live in if you're married, not single. Small towns are not good for a single person's social life - especially someone my age... I will get on journals tomorrow I hope if I'm not out and too busy...
