Oh, woe is me!... I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed recovering from my wonderful Rome trip, trying to get caught up with my bookkeeping work & housework, and needing to get ready for my next trip (I leave on Sunday) to move my (6'3") baby home from college & go with him, my eldest son & DH to visit my Mom. But in praying for serenity this morning, I will add my gratitude for all I'm blest with --
*to have the time, energy, health & finances to be able to travel *to have 2 wonderful sons & an amazing DH (plus our great extended family) in my life & to travel with *to have my bookkeeping work, which while there are other jobs I'd much rather have, I am able to do as a help to family & friends who are not strong in this area *to have the love & support of wonderful, amazing friends here on FS & in person *to have a beautiful home & a life that I love *to have the best, most wonderful career (for me) of all -- being a Mom!
So, to that I'll add my prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And, I'll be praying, breathing, logging, posting & expressing over this one day, meal, moment, bite or emotion at a time. xoxox (P.S. I feel so much better already & thank you all for being here for me every step of the way!)
