Yesterday was my first day of this program and I did really well (if I do say so myself :)). Stayed within my calorie limit and walked two miles.

I had lost 65 pounds in 2001 and kept it off until 2008, when I started gaining weight for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, I have put the weight back on. I have come to terms with this and am now ready to live a healthy life again. I keep telling myself I lost weight before and kept it off for seven years. My mantra is "I know how to do this."

One of the mini-challenges I have committed to is to write two things I like about myself. So here they are: I am a hard worker, and I have a lot of patience. :)
