AdaOke, they are delicious. I just have to make sure I'm not eating too many at a time! ...lol. But I am partial to their shape. Not many other states can pull this off!

Lol, Najwa! Yes, many of the hotels here in Texas have waffle irons that produce Texas-shaped waffles. Some pleaces give you the choice between the conventional round ones, or Texas ... guess which one I always choose!

You're right, AdaOke. Other states ciuld do it, but some may not be as recognizable. Although maybe Rhode Island would be better for caloric intake ... lol.

I grew up around the Port Arthur area, and I've lived in Pasadena as well. I also lived in Austin for five years while I was in college at UT.
