As impossible as it is to believe...

I’m 5’ 1 3/4”, weigh 153 lbs, can wear size 8 pants comfortably. A 6/8 (or small) in loungewear.
I have a 28” waist. It’ll be smaller after this swelling goes down. Lol.

I run, do intervals, and weight lift. I’m pretty toned and have muscle. My weight on the scale and my height does not mean a thing when it comes to what size clothing I wear. (Other than I can’t wear a regular length because it’d be too long. 😂)
It is possible to wear small sizes and the scale not reflect it. It is possible to have a small waist and scale not reflect that either.
Most of us understand that a scale only tells a small part of the story.

4/6* loungewear. I can wear a 6/8 in most pants. 8 is, by far, the most comfortable. Of course, some pants are more generous in their sizes than others but I’ve tried a lot of different brands of 10’s and all were too loose on waist.

You know about "vanity sizing"?. Some brands have been using size inflation because the customer wants to see and buy the smaller sizes only. The same with the bra, in the opposite direction :) For comparison: in Europe, on average, I have sizes S/M or 36/38 and bra cup B, here in the States, Small, Extra Small, 2/4, and bra cup C. And within brands, you have different measures as well! SO, yes you can have a small waist without the scale telling you, it depends on the brand. But with your toned body, the size doesn't really matter that much!

Yep. That’s why I try on a lot of different brands to get a better idea of where I’m at. 😊
