Thank God for another warm, sunny, October day. The family got out and did some biking today, and took a trail that we haven't gone before. WOW. There were some really nice hills and grades on the back half. My legs are feeling it now. Abby really enjoyed the ride on the back of my bike. She is my back-seat-driver. LOL. Telling be to go faster, slower, no talking you'll scare the chipmunks, I'm hungry, etc.... On the way back, she fell asleep. I couldn't believe it. Helmet and all, sound asleep. We probably went a total of 13 miles today. It felt good and we had a good time being together. I'm really going to miss these warm, feel good days when winter gets here.

You reminded me that I saw my first chipmunk this summer in Maryland. It was soo cute. After we figured out what it was, we sat in the car at Denny's just staring for a while. Then went in and had a meat lovers delight which is why I'm on this site now:).

It's so nice you can share those beautiful outdoors times with Abby. When I walk at the lake I see parents riding with their kids or pushing/pulling them in strollers, wagons, etc. MANY times the kids are fast asleep, no matter how bumpy the ride! Must be all that fresh air!
