There are things you can have at Chinese restaurants that won’t throw you off too much... just be aware of portions, try to stay away from breaded meats, don’t fill up on rice and noodles, and be mindful of heavy sauces.
Beef/broccoli or shrimp/broccoli are always my top choices and I generally sub in more broccoli in place of rice. The grilled chicken on a stick is also a good choice.
