bbbbbbrrrrrrr......GOOOOOD MONDAY MORNIN EVERYONE!!!!....wakin up to 38 outside this mornin...an im gettin layered up to make my way outside to the building to do a weight routine...at times i wish it was heated..would make it easier to look forward to going out to it...but would also make it easier to sit down more between sets and rest to...once i get to moving and doing reps il warm up quick...usuallly after about 5-10 min out ther, i have my sweatshirt jacket off cause im to warm...might take a few more minutes today...lol...then after the workout i plan on doing a morning walk again...might just do the route i did yesterday an build up on it...was just a 22 min walk, but enough to get limbered up on...soooooooooo.....would like to stay longer and get more in the mood, but if i do that i wont get my workout in...so...hope eveeryone has a great day!!!!!...do the best you can at whatever you do!!!!!....catch you all later!!!!

did my first workout, then got on the scales...an was sadly disappointed...must be retaining water...makes you just want to quit eating everything...or it does me anyways..but i kno i cant cause then that will slow down my metabolism and i dont want that either...just seems like some days you cant win when it comes to tryin to get the weight off...there are just days its hard to stay positive when it comes to gettin the weight off!!!

went for a walk...tried to think more positive about my gain...got to thinkin mabye switchin my meals around might make a difference..im sure its water retention, more then gainin muscle...even my fingers feel puffier today...so more water an bathroom time today an the next few...lol...work it out...get bck on track...make wiser food choices hopefully...

It may just be water...that's a usual culprit.

GOOD AFTERNOON! I looked back at your exercise calendar and see that around Sept 5 you changed your exercise from walking, dumbell curls and crunches to 'weight training'. This seems to coincide with your plateau in weight loss. Any connection? Maybe you are putting on muscle and still loosing inches?????

since its so cold today with a wind chill of 34...went for an afternoon walk inside...2 walks today totaled 42 min...an gettin ready to head out into buildin in a few an do second weight workout...im sure that not walkin might be part of my addin weight as well..the muscles around my knee are doing great...so thinkin mabye 20 min walks to start out with might be the way to go ....

I am no expert by any means! However - both my husband and my son train with weights. First - muscles retain water to protect themselves. Second - muscle tissue requires water to grow and to "heal" after muscle tissue is "worked" to its limit. I am simply paraphrasing the guys in my family who say, "I'll be out in the garage if you need me. If the phone rings, I have my i-pod earplugs in 'cause I'm lifting."
