well I hope it is only the teeth that drove her fever up! I hate when babies aren't feeling good, because they can never tell you what is wrong. :(

Awww poor baby! (And Mommy too...lack of sleep is so much harder on us adults!) Every time my girls cut teeth they would end up with an ear infection.....the doctor's swore there was no correlation though, but I am not convinced! Anyway, I hope she is feeling better quickly! 

Oh no... 105 is not teething. Like Amy says... probably an infection. And YES there IS a corelation betweeen ear infections and teething. Once there is a fever (accepted medically that teething does this) the body is far more suceptible to infection. Add to it the additional drooling and runny nose and you have fluids that can build up and cause sinus, ear or general resperatory infection. Mommies know. There is no education equal to experience. Glad you're getting the baby to the doc right away Cindy... I had a night like that once... high fever, piercing scream... by morning, the eardrum had perforated. :( Good luck, and try to grab a nap this afternoon! 

Cindy, 105 is really high for a fever...was the under the arm? And is it down now? Let us know what the doc says, and I will be saying some prayers. Hang in there grandma, and try to get a little rest later on today! 

Here is an update on Olivia's doctor's appointment. They said that we must have gotten her there in record time because they couldn't see any infection. They want to put her on an antibiotic just in case. My daughter doesn't want to put the baby on any medications unless it is absolutely necessary. It's her call. I'm just the grandma. Maybe I'm from the old school. At least she has the medicine in case she needs it tonight. Hopefully, my daughter will change her mind when she gets home from work. Thanks for the prayers everyone. I do think that I'll try to get a nap when she lays down. With God's Help We Can Do It!!! 

Cindy, my ex sister - in- law did that with my niece (the one I am raising now) and I can honestly say it did more harm than good, Loo has constant ear/hearing problems due to infections that went untreated. I understand why she doesnt want to give her the medication unless absolutly necessary, I still do this with Loo because too much medicine is never a good thing but please watch her.  

WOW, that 105 temp is scarey. I've known of some having convulsions at that temp. That was me as a baby. Thank goodness, she had that doctors appointment. Hope all continues to go well for her. 

Just got off the phone with my daughter...she told me to give her the medicine. Maybe now we all can get some rest; especially, litte Olivia. Thank you all for being there for us. God Bless You All!!!
