As many times as you read or hear a friend or trainer say "It's not about the number on the scale, but the inches" it's still hard not to feel discouraged when they scale stays the same or worse, you go up and down the same 3 lbs! I feel a slight change in the way my pants fit, my posture is better, and (this may sound odd) but my abdominal fat feels looser.
I am going to remain patient. I am going to continue. I am going to continue running (something I stopped and just got back into). I know that pressing forward is better than staying where I am. But please oh please can the scale start mirroring what I'm doing? I'm eating clean about 80% of the time and doing cardio and weights 4x a week.
You know what, as I rant I'm remembering that in the past when I've been in the 170's it was tough to get out but once I did I hardly saw the 160's and before I knew it I go to the 150's. Maybe this is me jump starting it back into gear and once I get to 169 its free falling from there! #positivethinking

Yes, it is hard when that scale isn't moving. It can be discouraging. I try to look at the big picture and I know I will forever have to watch what I eat and exercise. You are doing great things for your health and body. The scale will eventually catch up.
