I blew it yesterday. Ate a whole can of extra large olives. (love them) However I think I made up for it today, I got worked over at physical therapy this afternoon. I am sore and tired, but feel good about myself and the choices I have made today. Hopefully I will not hurt as bad after PT on Thursday.

Hugs to those who need and/or want them.

Hi Meddo. Hope you´re fine. You once asked about sweeteners replacing sugar. My 30y old daughter who is e health freak ;) recommends Stevia. She's trying to make me use it, but as I don't use sugar why should I use that? I also love olives but I had to drop them out of my menu. It was not so much for the oil and calories but the incredible amount of salt. Salt is binding fluid into your body. Salt is also increasing the blood preassure etc. The recommended intake/day is around 5g salt (equals app.2000mg of sodium). 200g of black olives has pretty much the total amount of salt you should eat all together. The thing is that you can't compensate an overdose of sodium/salt by physical excersise as you can with an overdose of calories. A nasty little bastard this salt but you can't live without it either :)

Morning Elbe, I know I can't exercise the salt away. It would be nice if we could lol. Thank you for the input on the sweeteners. I did a goodly amount of research on different brands and kinds, I am using Splenda atm. There is so much back and forth on Stevia, and Truvia that I decided to go with Splenda because I have used it before. Hugs to those who need and/or want them.
