Diario de flaxseed, 24 feb. 09

Today has been a good day. Day out with a flask of soup and wholemeal rolls. Sun shining, snowdrops everywhere and I've seen the first lambs skipping in the hills. Problems always seem smaller in the fresh air and sunshine. Thanks for your words Info. they were just what I needed. I had been considering some very unwise moves. FIL still in hospital and the ward he is in has a vomiting etc bug and is quarantined, so no visitors of any kind. He has been given strong painkillers which have spaced him out and has been found wandering in the corridor in just his vest! His daughter is still refusing to do any sort of caring for him and because care services are means tested in the UK and he is refusing to pay, things are at a stale mate. I don't think he is behaving very well in the hospital either.

Diet is going quite well and though I haven't lost much on the scales I can see I'm losing inches. Have had to alter a couple of waistbands to stop them falling down. Happy days
