Good Morning, everyone.
Well, Old Man Winter is pounding the North East again (apparently most of the Lower 48 as well.). I heard something funny on local sports radio this morning. Apparently DFW closed due to ice. They were wondering if the NFL regrets planning the 2014 Super Bowl to be played in Meadowland Stadium in North Jersey.
Last night was a good night except I did not get enough exercise. I went to Sam's Club and Stop & Shop (they don't sell wheat pasta at my Sam's) and I got home a little later than I wanted to. On the plus side, I made Salmon and Asparagus Pasta, which was phenominal. My wife is out of town again so I had the run of the TV too. I watched a Red Sox Town Hall show last night, which gave me hope. Spring is coming, I promise. At least that is what the voices in my head tell me.

Ice or snow... ice and rain... take your pick! For us it is mostly ice and rain and I count myself lucky for that! Yep... opening day is just 2 months away! Closest team where I live now is the Reds... but I was brought up with the Tigers... originally from Detroit!

I'm originally from Central Massachusetts and went to UConn. Naturally I am a true blue Husky and as for pro teams, I'm a Boston fan: Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins...and Redskins...Wait what?
Yes, while I follow the Pats I am truly a 'Skins fan. I chose them during SB XVII. I liked Burgundy and Gold more than Aqua and Orange (Dolphins). My understanding of actual football rules came much later. I justify by saying the 'Skins started as the Boston Braves and were moved to Washington by George Preston Marshall...in 1937.

Good Morning Bren. I hear there is no better live event than a NASCAR race...or dare I say weekend. Loudon, Dover, Watkins Glen, and the Poconos are the closest for me, but I've never been. I'd like to do a circle track over a road course, so I can see the entire track. I my younger years, I rode in a cab on the road course in Montreal, but that's a long story.

Bristol is the closest to me...I have never been either. Too many people to
have to contend with..I mean I am a people person I just don't want to get
stampeded..is that a word?...So me and husband watches together and some times we have a few friends over. have a great day....Bren
