Diario de loosinisfun, 03 feb. 11

after so many months of watching what i eat, im tryin to eat more calories since im burning more calories..but for me its just so hard to find thiings i normally eat to put into my food menu thats healthy...ive gotten so accustomed to eating the best i can, or what i think is healthy, its hard for me to keep adding food, just to get my calorie intake up higher...i just dont eat alot and i dont really feel hungry if i dont have 1300 calories every day...just dont kno how to make it work....i usually add stuff in during the morning so that i have it layed out for me so i dont pick the wrong stuff thru the day...but alot of days i go back an edit it, cause i just dont eat it...or just not hungry after putting it in to try an make the 1300...sure i could eat 2000 calories, but id feel guilty later for doing it..an id wonder what the scales was gonna say the next day...

Another entry today? You are in the thinking mood..but this is a good one. I think that eating more calories just might be your answer but if you are like me you are afraid to try. I would use one of those charts on the computer where you put in your weight and your goal and it tells you how many calories you should eat and how long it will take you to reach your goal. It can be kind of scary doing something different and eating more but I think there is lots of truth in what they say about going into starvation mode and I don't think you eat enough. Try it for a couple weeks...make yourself eat...if it doesn't work go back..

i appreciate any and all help....its not a matter that i go hungry...if im hungry i eat...but for me to get 1300 calories, then i feel like im having to eat when my body isnt really hungry for the food...i kno its a mind thing...and something i just have to gradually work on...

Gosh, you guys that find it hard to eat. I have NO PROBLEM eating calories ~ lol. THAT'S the problem. I can eat even when I'm not hungry. I guess I can consider myself lucky that I never got extremely overweight (30# was enough) with my appetite. My metabolism used to be really high like my father's. He was ALWAYS skinny. Just a tad must have rubbed off as I have always eaten a lot and not until age 40ish did I begin to notice myself gaining easily. Then gradually up it went, then down, then up, etc. So, when I reached 165, I HAD to say, enough is enough. Now, I'm low 130's and trying to get about 5 more lbs off. That's harder than the other 30 ~ lol. Hope you keep warm and safe and I do agree with Cathy. We DO need a certain number of calories or our bodies won't burn much to conserve. I read a big article from Mayo about this. Lesser calories don't mean you lose faster, unless you are terribly sick. Our bodies will conserve (this is a throw-back to beginning of man to save for leaner days). OK, I'm rambling I know. Enjoy your workout(s) and be safe loosin. Check in with you later.

i kno that you are both right ...for the workouts i do...and the other stuff i do...i probably do need to increase my food intake...and i kno its a mind thing of me thinking less is better...and its just something that i will have to make myslf do...thanks....
