It's going to be a long stressful day. Yesterday my hubby's grandma got taken to the hospital because they thought her kidneys were failing. She's got some damage, but they aren't sure how much yet. She's only 69, but she's had a lot of health issues and has fallen and hurt herself pretty bad a couple of times in the past year. I'm praying she pulls through. She's been miserable lately because she's losing the independence she values so much, so hopefully if she comes out of this she'll accept some more help, I don't think she'll have much of a choice. My hubby's Dad and Aunt are really making me mad, because she's they're Mom and they haven't gone to see her, and they're full of excuses, but the grandkids who worked overnight and were tired, left to be with her as soon as they found out, and they are there having to make medical decisions for her. She's only 45 mins away from us, which would be a little less than 90 mins away from his Dad and Aunt. Sigh. I can't do anything about it, so I guess I just have to get over it, but my hubby has been through this with his Mom and Stepmom in the hospital and being by their side until they passed away, so I'm sure he's having a hard time. Unfortunately, I'm stuck here, but at least his brothers are there too. He should be back tonight and I'm going to try to go see her this weekend. It's hard when the kids have so much going on to get free time, but I'm going to make time.
Well, in other, happier news, even with eating out yesterday and having a cookie that someone was nice enough to buy for me, I still did fairly well eating wise yesterday. Part of doing well was because I felt sick to my stomach last night, but I guess that helped me not grab any extra snacks. I'm looking at it with my glass half full attitude today. :)
I got a workout in yesterday too which was great. We'll see about tonight, it will depend on if I end up going to see my hubby's Grandma. Tomorrow I'm going to go babysit my niece around 1130, so I'm going to try to get a workout done in the a.m.
