Wow! Walked over 7 miles yesterday (2.5 just around work-busy day!). I got my 15,000 steps in a day fitbit badge! Next one is 20,000-think I'll wait a bit before I try that one (10 miles). When I got back from the 5 mile evening walk my blood sugar was 103!!! I was estatic, but 2 hours after eating dinner it was around 190???? Maybe my body wasn't used to being at 103 and said "release the glucose". It was back to 134 this morning. Dang! want to see those morning ones lower, but it still is better than when it was around 250!!!!
Was treated to a nice lunch by the head of school for administrative professional day at his home. It was much better than the food usually around here. We had chicken and asparagus (in a balsamic sauce-lots of garlic!). There was also a lentil with beets salad and a quinoa with basil and strawberries salad. I had a tiny spoonful of each to try since not on that phase of Atkins yet. I also treated myself to some strawberry crisp that had oats on top. It was small but oh so good! Anyway back on track today.
