Just joined the 10 miles challenge which is equal to 16. 13 KM per week!! It sounds a lot but I am gonna try it and see how it goes. It sounds exciting when many people are trying the same thing. ^^

You can do it! I am a distance runner and I have some advice if you don't mind. Many people run for a few minutes and give up. If you feel tired or out of breath just slow down (really slow if you want... sometimes I look like a little snail) but keep going. Before long you will get more energy and be able to push yourself further. I used to not be able to run a block without walking...now I do marathons. But even know with my stamina built up the first few are always the hardest until I get in my zone. Good luck!!
