Happy Friday!!! Well sort of...
I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off for a breather to Washington D.C. It turns out that we are actually going to Nationals Park, but on Saturday, where they predict cloudy and a chance of showers. I love playing ball (football, baseball, soccer) in the rain. Watching? Not so much. Whatever, my B.I.L. got free tix through the Navy (or so I hear), so why kick a gift horse in the mouth?
I Got back on track food-wise. We didn't do a major grocery run this week since we weren't going to be around for the last half, so I broke out some old favorites. Last night I had Kate's Turkey Habanero Marinara. Tonight it's another round of Fettuccine with Salmon and Asparagus. Yes, I have all these ingredients in my fridge/freezer/pantry. It's not only amazing about the leftover meals that come out of eating healthy but the left over the raw food as well.
Exercise-wise, I'm currently on my 5th straight day of interval bike training and I've hit the 11 mile mark 3 times in the process. I've come to terms with not losing 5 lbs in a week but I find myself longing for the weight melt from a month ago. My B.I.L asked my wife yesterday if we minded walking throughout the city this year. I was actually counting on it!!!!
