I used to wonder how I could gain weight when my caloric intake was significantly less than my output. But my body doesn't do math quite so linear. Muscle can retain more fluids due to exercise, timing of meals and stepping on the scale can alter the results, stress hormones or not enough sleep, even a hot shower, all can all affect my weight on the scale. A single day does not result in success or failure.

Heck no! For grins and giggles I weighed myself throughout the day and found 5lbs difference! Water, food, etc that we drink and eat through the day add weight, but not fat. The scale is only one metric, and it’s not one where I now worry about a pound or two.
I was plateaued and so I started doing a diet through my local gym, and now I’m dropping weight again, and hopefully gaining muscle. But I drink about a gallon of water a day and that’s 8lbs of weight (not that it all stays on board)
Started at 180 back in December and now I’m closer to 154! It’s awesome!
Keep going!!!
