This may sound outlandish, but I think working a few more animal products back into my diet is having a negative effect on my mood. At least, the two have coincided somewhat. I've been in a serious funk this weekend. I'm going to try cutting it back out and see what happens. I also need to reel in the added sugar

It’s hard to understand the chemical makeup of our food and how it can effect us. We are truly in the dark ages of medicine or they would be able to treat mental illness better.
I know if I eat a ton of meat I get leg cramps, go figure! Hope your day gets cheerier!👍🌺

Shrewdness -- I reached out here and to a friend, then fixed myself a healthy lunch, so feeling a little better. It can be strange how our bodies react. I have a good friend who discovered through doing Whole 30 that wheat makes the arthritis in her hands worse. Morticia -- it could definitely be a factor. I'm not a sugar purist, but I do like to keep it below the 6 teaspoons in a day recommended by the WHO. Doesn't seem to bother me if I'm having just a little. I've probably been hitting the candy at work lately enough that I might be exceeding that
