Well nothing like a food-born illness to get a few pounds off when nothing else works. But hey - if it gives me a bit of momentum, I'll take it. December 1 was a net-negative in terms of calories even after date night with the hubby (pizza, red wine, and holiday decorating!). I walked a ton - with the dog in the morning, home from my annual physical along the waterfront, etc.

Physical went well - "everything looks, feels, and sounds great" the doctor says. Will find out about blood work later today.
