Had an off day I think because I gave up meats this week, I dont have the amount of enegy / protein I need so I ate more snacks as I should. Also its a rest day for me so I did not do any walking. Tommorow I will work more to get back on track. I wanted to stay under 1800 calories. and fell short today.

You may want to read up on vegetarian/vegan diets in order to swap out your previous proteins with new ones. Energy can come from many sources, not just protein. If you can, meeting with a registered dietician is helpful in that they can design weekly menus for you to grocery shop from.

Thank you, I have tried in the past to cut out all meats, however since I have an autoimmune disorder whereas histamines get overloaded in my system, and I go anaphylaxis I can't do peas, soy, legumes blow my belly out, I'm sensitive to a lot of foods :-( so I'm giving this another try because I was eating way too much chicken and with a slow digestive system it backs me up a lot. I felt crappy most days. Since stopping last week, my digestive system is not so overloaded and I feel a little lighter. Will see how long I can go. Thanks for your input! Miyon
