My FBS was 101 this morning. We had another rainy night but it looks as if the sun is "trying" to shine. No wonder my pain has been up all week:(
Saw my eye doc yesterday. Turns out on top of my eye allergies I have an infection in both eyes. She said pink eye was going around so she gave me some drops to ease and heal. I've never had pink eye before and we're not sure that's exactly what it is but there is definately some sort of infection going on. I see her again next week. My eyes are looking much better already. Seriously, my eyes looked like a vampire in one of those old horror flicks they were so red and bloodshot. Granted today they are still bloodshot but the severe redness is gone though they are still very irritated and inflamed. The good news is though I have a bit of film over my left eye after the cataract surgery, it's not abnormal and easy to fix. My vision still sucks because my eyes keep watering so having trouble with small details. I hope to be healed up soon as this is getting pretty old though.
My daughter is doing better now she has a better doctor so that eases my mind a great deal. She's 30 weeks along now and baby is still fine. With her blood loss and other odd things we were all a bit concerned. I'll feel a lot better after she delivers.
I made a pot roast in my crock pot last night so today's food is ready:)
Time for a hot cup of coffee. hope all my buddies are doing well!

Ruby, I have had eye infections that are like pink eye but not contagious because they were caused by allergies or a sinus infection (I had such a bad infection not that long ago that the snot had no where to go but out my eye... which lead to a massive eye infection - it was not pleasant at all). Glad you got some meds and your eyes are on the mend. Also glad to hear your Daughter is doing well, she will be having that baby in no time at all! I am currently making tex mex chicken in my slow cooker so when I get home tonight I will be able to make a nice chicken salad!

Thanks for sharing Pixi. I've had a few bouts with allergies that led to something more serious too. I really didn't think it's pink eye but glad to have meds to clear it up. Tex mex chicken? OMG sounds yummy! Recipe??? ♥n hugs!

LOL its really easy, I used to do it with taco seasoning but Clubhouse makes tex - mex seasoning and it is super tasty (I use it on Edamame now too lol) I just threw 3 chicken breasts into the slow cooker set the timer for 6 hours (I will be texting my brother around 2 to ask him to check because I forgot how much water I used last time and took a guess today, and now Im scared it will run out of water) with some water and the seasoning and when its done it tastes amazing.. I have also done it in the oven , where I let the chicken marinade in the seasoning over night and then roast it in the over...

Sorry you are having problems w/ the pink eye. Yuck. Been there - done that. So not fun. Sending you happy thoughts for a speedy recovery. Love.
