I probably should have waited a few more days to weigh-in on my regular day, but the scale has been hovering around this all day and I just couldn't help myself. I'm almost positive it will go up a bit before my week is up, but that's ok! Trends are what count.
I fasted yesterday (had 500 kcals), did 16:8 today, and fast again tomorrow. I'm starting to have some respect for this hunger feeling, not that I like it. But it is nice to know I don't have to eat something every time I start to feel hungry, or because something looks appetizing. I'm on my period as well this week, so I think that may be adding to my bmr slightly. And I'm not really retaining any extra water, so that's always a plus!
I expect to be approaching the end of this rather steep weight loss curve I've been enjoying. It says I'm losing 4lb a week. That seems a little crazy. I don't want to set myself up for failure.
I haven't really been doing low carb, so I don't think it's just water weight. Most likely it's these calorie restriction days. I may need to be more vigilant in tracking my non fasting days to make sure I'm getting enough calories. I don't want it all to be too good to be true. :) I'm cautiously optimistic, haha.
