Make sure you are getting plenty of protein when you exercise. Many of us take whey based protein suppliments, because natural protein sources typically contain too much fat or are just too inefficient (or tasteless) to consume in the necessary volume. It is learning process and a journey. Try not to torture yourself with deprivation. Find lower calorie alternatives for your favorite foods, so that you can consume plenty of food with the same calories and nutrition. Best wishes.
