Out playing in the rocks this afternoon. They were grazing cattle where we started our hike, so we were steering wide of cows/steers and cow pies. A lot of jokes about how the killer cows were going to get us. ;-)

Okay, these I would climb over. That previous spot, no way. So if it's not moose, it's cows on the hiking path. Wyoming just gets more out there every time you journal. Love it!

It's actually a weird perspective here, JB -- there's a drop-off if you clambered over these, so this was as far as I went. But yes, these rocks are MUCH more fun to play in. My husband's favorite thing to do is get off trail and climb around in the rocks.

YOH -- it's Forest Service land, so multiple use. The price we pay for the free playground is to share it with cows sometimes. 😉

writingwyo, if you ever find yourself with the opportunity, and you love climbing big rocks, I recommend Quoddy Head State Park in Lubec, Maine... it is like heaven.. as long as the weather is 'good.'
