I was going good then, wham, double pneumonia kicked my rear hard. I am slowly coming back. I have been able to do some light weight exercises. My treadmill time is picking up. I still get real winded however. I have been able to get back up to 10k plus in steps a day. I get winded, but I push through. My lungs need to recover a bit still.
I talked to the doc about my struggles with "diet". So we are trying something new, and it is working pretty well. Carb Cycling. I am able to eat more in line with what I am used to eating without going overboard. On heavy work/exercise days I can do more carbs. Where as slower days, less. He has me going low, med, high, back to low for right now. I am feeling full longer, I don't have those munchie sessions as much and I am not finding myself hungry when I shouldn't be. While I don't like the up a pound on the scale after a higher carb day, I remember trust the process. I have finally maintained under 200 pounds for a stable period of time. And I have had to tighten the belt because some inches are coming off the waist and hips which I am proud of.
Blessings everyone, hope y'all have a wonderful rest of your day.
