I am testing my bodies response to carbohydrates today. Lunch: 3 chicken strips and fries from Steak n Shake. I don’t know if I should hope for a fair response to prove I have accomplished giving my body a healthy boost by depriving myself of carbs for so long. Or on the other hand, hope for a lousy number proving that I am on the right track and double down knowing this is the only way to eat. Lol

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle of both approaches. It's just a balancing act that we have to continue to work at daily. Carbs are demonized on here a lot [not saying you're doing that] but really they're like anything else. In moderation and at the right times carbs are very beneficial. All we can do is give our best each day. Hopefully the chicken and fries were good! 👏👋🐔🍟
