Diario de Rhidemption, 03 sep. 24

I've always been really bad about skipping breakfast (probably a big part of my slow metabolism), but I've recently started having a protein shake instead. I never have an appetite when I first wake up, but I am thirsty, so it's the perfect solution 😅

I used to be the same way. skip breakfast, eat large meals rest of the day. when I was healing my back injury(2 herniated discs and degenerative spinal stenosis) I started carnivore. one of the tips was to eat as close to waking up as possible. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese became a staple for starting my day. When I got away from carnivore due to binge eating disorder diagnosis,I loved my protein shakes too!!! I also used these fruit smoothie packets from Costco, and added collagen peptides in to help my spine in any way I could. eventually, I became a breakfast person and noticed it has made a tremendous difference in mood, and energy, and I found the healthier my breakfast, the better food choices I made thru out the day! This journey isn't linear; it's not straight forward at all! Lots of experimenting and time has been spent on figuring out how to eat food without all the side effects of triggering my disordered eating. so far I have been in remission for over a year now!
