I stepped back and took serious stock in some things.

I changed jobs. I work for a laundromat now. I do pick up and delivery two days a week and work in the laundromat two days a week wash/dry/fold service. We have a contract with a local college. This week is 28 students. That is a lot of laundry. Last week, turns out I did 350 pounds of just student laundry lol. I was asked today why I don't feel like doing my own laundry, lol. Gee I wonder.

It is a whole lot less stress than being a deli manager, that is for sure. However, my weight is on the incline again.

In stepping back, I went over my general goals. Broke them down into smaller chunks making them more manageable. Not necessarily easier to get done, just more realistic for what all is happening.

I am noticing with my weight on the incline again, I am having more pain and mobility issues. Time to shift some things and get it off again.

Hope everyone is having a blessed evening.
Great going everyone! We got this!

I just joined the over 50 challenge and saw you there! I have been stuck for months and have gained a little too. I am scared if I dont get back on track all my previous work will have been for nothing. Hopefully this challenge will help us both. I definitely need the accountability. Love your new job, it sounds much more low key. That is my style, low stress! Good luck and have a great day!

Hi just getting to know you but it sounds like you're hard working and good with time management (deli management, muti-task/position laundry position). From that I can deduce that you are working hard on succeeding on your goals so it is just working out how best to achieve your goals. Like you mentioned you are trying to chunk the goals smaller pieces which are more achievable. It's then good to have a plan on how to do that like if you're goal is to lose weight. That breaks down to lose 10 lbs. Then further breaks down to breaks down 👇. Lose 1 lb per week for ten weeks by use your fav. strategies.

Do you cook? Is cooking meals in batches an option for you then taking them to work? The prepared meal could reduce temptation to buy junk food or something on the way home so you don't have to cook after hard shift. After all I would say folding laundry 🧺 all day would make a person tired 😩.

it's amazing how few pounds can make a difference in your feet and legs. I have a standing job and lost 30# last year. what a difference that made.
