Enjoyed a heaping salad today after missing breakfast as a some what late lunch. I was not even hungry until I finally had time to stop work and think "well I haven't eaten today yet...". I do not expect to eat much more today if at all as it is only a few hours from the self-placed cutoff point for food and I will be back at work in less than an hour until just before that cutoff point is hit.
Apparently I had too many carbs yesterday and knocked myself out of ketosis. I was hopeful that would not occur as I truly enjoy Chinese food on occasion. Next time I decided to have some Chinese I will make sure to not eat any other carbs that day to see if I can handle it if I do. It would be a nice treat once in a while if I could fit it in. If not, I'm sure I can learn how to make some beef and broccoli that is more keto friendly.
Ketostix showed no trace of Ketones this morning, but they showed a small trace before I had lunch. I didn't eat that many carbs so I'm hopeful it won't take more than a day or two to get back into the groove of things.
