Well, I now know I cannot do a LCHF diet. I just feel terrible doing that. I am going back to eating my own diet way. It works, just slower. But at my age and taking the meds I do, I accept that. Slow and steady.

Absolutely: go for the way of eating that works for you! The only reason I'm transitioning toward the LCFH "diet" is because it's the closest match to how I ate as a child/teen, but if you've got a way that you know works, by all means go for it!

I am a new member, but I have read some of your posts. I have not learned the lingo yet, but what is LCHF diet?? Just curious on whether I want to try it rather than my calorie counting diet?

@tiny beast, the acronym LCHF stands for Low Carbohydrates, High Fat. It's more of an inclusive diet than many others, especially if you check out what's at healthfulpursuit-dot-com Her advice and recipes are very liberating, in my opinion.

I just saw a post that had the LCHF diet? I don't think I could do that diet either Islandmoma. Have high blood pressure, diabetes type 2 with insulin, high cholesterol, and to say the least a few more. I feel it might put me at a higher risk of heart attack or stroke and I can not afford anymore health problems, so I am trying a 2000 calorie diet.
