Finally a Loss! I've been frustrated as soon as I hit ONEderland after teeter tottering between 199.6 and 200.0 and then 201.8 briefly. But today, it looks like I'm pretty solidly in ONEderland again! I was also able to fit into my size 16 jeans I haven't worn in years. Woohoo!

Thanks so much! I've been hanging my jeans in the front of my closet so I see it every time I open the door. I'm glad I finally got to wear them today! :)

Warmest congratulations!!! Great feeling indeed. I have some dresses and skirts hanging on the wall to remind me that I have to be able to wear them again. Keep up the great job Swatter!!

Thank you all! It means a lot. And @PrettyHealthyMe - A friend of mine suggested that a while ago and it was one of the biggest reminders to help me stay focused! I kind of wish I had saved some of my "skinny" clothes I thought I'd never get into again! Oh well..that just means I'll have to have a new wardrobe. :)

So proud of you! Sometimes its seems like the scale is stuck (up!) for me too. As long as we stay on track...it WILL drop. It has no choice : )

I agree Swatter, it is a great reminder. Sometimes it literally stops me from eating a snack. I look at the skirt that used to be loose on my waist, and I remember the feeling of if and I put down the extra bite that would be over my RDI :-) I have another reminder, maybe that would work for you too: I set a short time goal, like losing one kg in two or three weeks. - this is what was sustainable for me so far, so I want to set a goal that is reasonable and I can believe that I can reach it. I write that number and the planned date on a big paper, decorate it with colourful pencils, and also put it on the wall. That is a great reminder every time I look at it. And when I reach it, then I congratulate myself and write the next one :-) Generally I think one can believe that can reach smaller goals than big ones - but of course the smaller goals are paving the path towards the big goal. Another trick is to display older photos, when one was skinnier. Perhaps the best place is on the fridge door ;-) To me this entire journey of losing weight is about mental strength and discipline, and I admit that I do need reminders sometimes.
