Ok, so I knew there would be a gain and I was prepared for that. This puts me back a whole 2 days on the plan. The average weight loss per month on this plan is about 18 pounds. Right now I have lost 13 pounds. I am very happy with that. I have 8 days left in the month so I am hoping to loose that last 5.5 to put me at 190 going into February.
I start Round 2 on Feb. 1 it would be nice to start it at 190. My goal for February is to get down to 175 which would be another 15 pounds. I just can't even imagine that. That is so far from my reality that I can't believe that I am even writing that about myself.
My husband has never known me to look like this. He is absolutely amazed at the results. He can't imagine what I would look like at 175 either. It is just mind boggling.
My ultimate goal has been to retain my body how to burn fat. I hope that going to the maintenance/stabilization phase will allow me to continue to loose weight. I am looking forward to working out again.
My plan is to do another duathlon in October. 2 mile run 12 mile bike 2 mile run. I did it last year and finished. I was 13th out of 16 in my category. I would love to be able to have better times and a better finish due to the weight loss.
I am writing all this down so that I can hold myself accountable for my progress or lack of progress. My gains and my losses I will accept responsibility. If anyone is reading is this and has anything to add I would gladly accept any comments.
