I don't understand how a recipe I have for Broccoli Crunch Salad says that per serving it is 6 g carb, 2 g fiber, and 4 g net carbs. But when I enter the recipe into my cookbook on here it says that there is 16.72 carbs, 2.6 fiber, and so that would make 14.12 net carbs per serving. This is frustrating. I am trying to get more fiber, which I figured there would be in raw broccoli, but now according to my food calendar it makes it look like I have went way off on my net carbs for this meal. Everyone keeps saying to get more fiber. This one really throws me off. I don't think the cookbook calculated it right because I ate 1 cup of cooked broccoli the other night and the carbs weren't this high. I doubt that a serving of this salad would be much more than a cup. Frustrating. I'm eating it anyway because I already fixed it and I think it is lower carbs than what it shows.
