I have tried every diet out there, I have got to lose this weight! I was in the store a while back and this little girl just stared at me like I was some kind of freak, you could see the horror in her eyes at the way I looked. I don't want to be this way, I have let myself go for that past 15 years. When I married my husband I weighted 132 we joke about being twice the woman I was but it hurts me to talk about it because he is so understanding and say's he will always love me no matter what, he married me for me not just for my body. He is my true soul mate and I am very blessed to have him and I want to be with him for a long time. I hope this will help me to sick to my diet this time. I have lost 13 pounds so far, I have a long way to go and with my husband supporting me I think I can do it.

My recommendation - STOP DIETING! Track your calories for week, see where your issues are with your food intake and start making small steps to correct them. If you make a lot of small changes over time, it won't seem so hard but they'll result in BIG changes you can maintain in the long term. The first 13 pounds is a great start- keep it up! Be consistent with tracking everything, make some supportive buddies and use them to ask for help and learn everything you can. You can do this!

YES YOU CAN DO IT!!!! You've lost 13 pounds so far and that is GREAT!! Keep it up and my only advice to you is to enjoy what you are doing! Find the joy!

We all had to start somewhere. But the important thing is that we had to Start! You have already done that so just keep that going...one day at a time. It is a journey with ups and downs but to succeed you HAVE to get up more times than you fall. So just make sure to brush off the down and get right back to it. We'll be here to support you =)

You've got this, girl!! I agree with Nat, track, track, track!! That was the biggest eye-opener for me.. and you have to be TOTALLY honest with yourself and stay strong! It takes awhile for new lifestyle choices/changes to become a habit, especially if you've developed bad habits for 15 years. Just remember, it took all those years to put on the weight, so it won't come off overnight.. be patient and stick with this - please don't be another person that comes on here and then just says "screw it" in 3 days - there are people on here that have lost 100+ pounds in a year just by changing their exercise/eating habits - they are inspirational and more than willing to support you!!
