My Dr put me on 1500 Calories, and said to avoid the carbs and starches. I am losing (even though I am no supposed to - about 1 to 2 lbs a week. I think that is because I started with a personal trainer and I am doing 3 days weight training and 3 days swimming (weight training days I do 30 to 45 mins on recumbant bike too)... Since I have 2 more courses to go, I don't think losing will hurt.
