I shouldn't have written down my goals last week. I was losing at a good pace and only 0.4 lbs away from my first sub-goal and my body said.."whoa, lets not make this too easy." And then jumped up a couple of pounds.
I think the key for my slight upward tick this last week was not drinking enough water and my sodium intake. When I am at work it is easy to get plenty of water and the restroom is close :). When I get home from work, I do not drink as much water because I am playing with the kids or busy doing stuff around the house. I think this is why i see an upward tick on the weekends also.
Last night I made a point to drink more water at home, and it seems to have worked. I appear to be losing again, However I will not be satisfied until I see that I am at or below my lowest weight since I started.
I have also realized that my diet last week had alot of sodium in it so I am looking to make adjustments in order to minimize salt intake.
