Diario de Carole Shaw, 24 mar. 12

Great day working in the yard today. Shoveled many wheelbarrow loads of dirt and gravel today. Had to use a crow bar to loosen it up first because it was compacted. My plan is to replace the dirt, gravel, and weeds with smooth stones and a weed barrier. That area has always been hard to keep weed free.

The bonus of all that work is that I must have used up a million calories. :) At least my body feels like it! Ha! ha!

.... Great way to burn calories AND you are doing something productive... I did some planting and 'pottering' yesterday too - not heavy stuff - but at least I wasn't sat on my a**e, so that's a bonus :-)
