Diario de graciepoo, 11 ene. 08

I have been on South Beach for 6 months now. I have always lost weight rapidly while doing phase 1. This time doesn't seem to be working!! So frustrating. I have been eating just right and have only gone down 1.5 lb for the whole week. Which on phase 2 would be perfect. but for phase 1, not pleased at all. Thinking about moving on to phase 2 rather than waiting another week. What ya think??

Slow and steady wins the prize Gracie.....you're doing wonderfully - even tho you feel *stalled* - you're still down....and that;s the right direction.....Change it up a little.....keep the body guessing what's coming next.....lol

You know what? I lost faster on level two last time, but this time I am losing pretty fast on level one, probably because I've been exercising so much. You could try reducing your fat intake a little, if it's not already ver low. Changing things up is probably a good plan. Don't be discouraged though, you are losing, and sometimes it comes off slow, and then a big chunk falls off you kmow what I mean? ew i just had a visual of a huge chunk of fat falling off my body. LOL! Cheer up, you're doing fine. Make a small cahnge or two and monitor the results. Love to ye! :)

You could go either way. I would guess if you continue with phase 1 the rest of the way, you'll probably see a significant drop coming in a few days. Or if you go back to phase two, you'll probably drop as well, but just more slowly. No getting discouraged now, ya hear?? You keep up with what you're doing and working out and you'll see the DROP!! :) *hugs* Hang in there Gracie, you're doing just fine!!

whichever you choose, keep your head up girl! it will happen, just give it time! i know it's hard to be patient. good luck!!

thanks guys. I hate feeling weak like this. And now i have company coming into town today AND both my kids birthday parties this weekend. NOt a good time to feel weak!! I know I can do it though!!

Graciepoo.....Hurray-you are within 2 pounds-just 222222222222, just 2 little pounds. I am so proud of you!!! You are sooooooo close- Wow-you go girl. You can do it!!! look at what you've already accomplished.

Graciepoo, I was slapped with what the book says about phase2, if we are doing it right and choosing the better carbs for us and our bodies, we should lose 1-2 pounds a week. If we are not losing at that rate on phase2, we need to look at the carbs we are eating and readjust. Perhaps there are some carbs you're eating that aren't doing you any favors? You can figure this out. You're so close to your goal...sooooooooooo close!
