This has been a hard day for me w/food. Went out to breakfast with my husband and did not order a smaller/kid-size meal...ate two eggs, three strips of bacon, and half of my pancakes. It tasted good..plus I was already close to using up my extra weekly points already....should have ordered smaller in the first place.

I found out yesterday that I should have been eating 22 points for awhile now! I have been doing 24....just the thought makes me hungrier...do I sound a little pessimistic?

I don't know if the POINT ranges have changed in the past 5 years since I got my books at WW meetings. But my book says you can have 20-25 POINTS for your weight (150-174 lbs). And when you get below 150 lbs the POINT range is 18-23. So you are well within your range according to the WW book. Plus, I remember my leader saying that you don't automatically have to go to the lower point range the minute your weight dips below the range limit. She said to switch when you notice that you are nolonger losing. But, like I said, I don't know what has changed in the past 5 years. However, what worked then should work now!

Thanks! They have changed the formula...I am somewhat embarrassed to say that I have joined three times in the past five years, so I do have the book! However, I know what you are saying...sometimes it just seems like I need more food. Plus, I do not count activity points unless I seriously exercise, so that should count for something! Thanks for responding.

I don't count housework stuff as my activity points. The only thing outside of an actual workout that I do count is snow shoveling. Cause I work up quite a sweat doing that!

I agree about not changing your points the minute your weight goes down to the next tens digit. I do it not long after, but usually once my weight loss drops to less than 1 lb a week. You're doing great!
