I will admit to be being somewhat of a gadget freak when it comes to losing weight as I find it to be motivating.
I wear a heart rate monitor to the gym and love watching those calories burn baby burn!
I also have have an all singing all dancing set of bathroom scales so although I'm not losing weight I can record other factors.

I'd love to know what scales you bought! I keep getting ones that are really flakey seem to have the weight jump up and down a lot!! Plus I really do not have the patience to read endless catalogue diatribe on features. I am very like that about new gym gear! I go into the sales each year and motivate myself by picking out trendy new clobber. That gets me excited to work out in the dull winter months <3 It really helps!
