Diario de GlennM, 02 jun. 12

Hi all, I am back on here. Facebook - or as I like to refer it - Phasebook takes up much of my online time. I need to diet seriously again. It has been over 4 1/2 years on here and it worked when I got on here seriously and journaled every day. I weigh about 225 - not bad for 6'2" as I am a bit muscular, but I want to get around 200. And so this week I eased myself back into Atkins. But this time I will maybe not do an induction phase for a time. The arthritis has been a battle and unfortunately it is preventing me from walking as much as I would like. I hope to post the first three books' beginning chapters in the next few weeks and it is likely once I figure out how, I will link it to here along with Facebook and Twitter. The dog is well. I am well too, leading a very solitary life with the writing. I had a brainstorm at work and came up with a short story book idea and another book that will be quicker to write than the others that are fiction. I will definitely try to get on here a few times a day. I hope everyone is well, and I will try not to let the other social media sites take up too much of my time as I need to get on Atkins permanently even if the weight loss is slow and I am doing OWL - which I plan to do permanently from here on out due to cholesterol issues that Atkins took care of - I will focus more on chicken and fish, and limit the red meats. I'll try to get on here later in the day and also visit buddies' journals too this weekend. I seriously need to get serious about permanently doing low carb.

Thanks Bren and Buffy, it is good to be back. Facebook has taken too much of my time. But I came up for an idea for a book last night after chatting on Facebook. And then a short story that will go into Book 4 at work too. I am doing low carb for good, so it is back regularly on the calcium (Tums works great w/o constipation), magnesium and potassium supplements. I take a lot of other stuff too. I need to get to sleep after working last night and so I will be on here later this evening to check in with everyone. I am doing under 100gms of carbs a day, and I figure with some exercise when/if I can do it I'll be twenty pounds lighter in six months and so that is my goal. If 100gms of carbs is too much and I don't lose I will do under 50gms. I'll do a weigh-in tomorrow. Time for sleep.
