3964 calories today. When I did the starch diet in 2015, I ate unlimited calories and maintained my weight of 56 or 57kg. I maintained this weight for nearly 2 years. I tried lowering my calories to reach 50kg but felt absolutely miserably. I'm wondering if 57kg is actually my natural body weight. The weight my body is comfortable at? This starch diet is really a miracle diet for me as a binge eater. The only down side is the stomach bloating from all the fibre!

I just stopped myself from 'eating my feelings'! .. I felt a dip in my emotion and automatically went to reach for food but I realised in time that what I was feeling was far from hunger. It was emotional hunger! So I was inspired to this idea of praying a prayer of appreciation for my food before going about eating it but then once I did that, I didn't want to eat it anymore! I'm taking my power back! Its funny how that feeling felt exactly like hunger..

Steamed white basmati rice for breakfast. 300g dry weight (over 1000 calories!).Dr John McDougall claims that sugar and starch will NOT make you fat. It is not efficient for the body to store sugar as fat. Keep fat low. The fat you eat is the fat you wear!

Back to starch based diet. Unlimited amounts of carbohydrates! So excited. I hope my appetite normalises
