Allergies. Apparently, I am suffering from allergies.
Heat indexes of close to 100 today, so am going to the beach immediately after work. This means I need to get a walk in here at work since I won't be later.
I need to find my motivation to exercise again. I have seemed to misplace it. Lots of excuses---but that's all they are...excuses.
Change is hard, but I am so much healthier now than I was 12 months ago. It has taken me years to learn bad habits, create excuses, etc. It's not like I'm going to go to a full fledged health nut in just 10 weeks.
I have been making better choices and need not to be discouraged!

Still not a 100%...but it's weird. I feel fine one moment and like crap the next.
Hot...really hot where I am right now, so my walks have shortened, and I'm trying to watch the calorie intake. I have increased my water and my body feels better.
Kiddo is now a yellow belt in taekwondo! YEAH!!

Still sick...has moved from my throat into my nose. My face feels like an elephant is standing on it.
I need to drink more water and increase my magnesium levels again. My muscles are cramping and really, really tender.
Am doing a bit of walking still even though sick...nothing major, just enough to try to keep it a habit. :0)

Yesterday afternoon I felt like hell...and by the time I got home, my throat hurt, my head hurt, I was clammy and flushed, and exhausted.
Ate a granola bar, drank some water, took some aleve...and took the kiddo to TaeKwonDo. Usually I walk while she is there, but last night I literally curled up in a ball on the floor and watched her. She was testing for her next belt (and hopefully) she passed!!
I'm feeling a little better today...head still hurts, but my throat feels better and I'm not as tired.

My weight is not changing at all.
BUT...people are asking me if I have lost weight, my vitals are better--although I need to get back to the doctors to check-in.
My thyroid is broken...when I was first diagnosed in 2006, my tsh levels were off the charts. 5.0 is considered high, the clinical range is 300.0 and my level was 3,364. The senior endocrinologist asked where I was hospitalized. I wasn't...I was working full time, studying for a business designation (10-12 hours a week) and raising our daughter by myself.(the hubby at the time was an over the road driver and gone for 2-3 weeks at a time.)
My levels are now (6 yrs later and many changes in dosage)is entirely too low. When I went in earlier this year(Jan), my level was 0.00000. They lowered my dose, rechecked 6 weeks later and my level was at 0.00006 still. Lowered my dose, rechecked 6 weeks later and my level was at 0.00094...lowered my dose, recheck needed.
It's a bit frustrating; yet,I use it as an excuse, I think. Oh my weight doesn't change because my thyroid is broken. No--it's because my activity level isn't that high and I've been eating like shit as of late.
So, I am going to commit to three things:
1. Really focus on watching my added sugar.
2. Walk every day at work. I totally slacked off and am now committing to 1.2 miles a day...this is in addition to the Monday and Wednesday walk.
3. Commit to yoga and weight lifting 2x/week. Low weights and short duration, because the focus is on consistency.
